Memoir writer Caroline Brannigan uses MPG Biddles to print her books because her customers want a good quality product which will last.

Caroline is a journalist based in Yorkshire and, as well as being a memoir writer, produces features for national newspapers and magazines. Her latest book, Building a Life in Swaledale, is about a man born into a family of builders in a small Yorkshire Dales village in 1937. His story captures a simple way of life which was about to disappear for ever and charts the flood of modernization which swept The Dales from the Sixties onwards. “He tells a great story but would never have written it himself,” says Caroline. “Now it’s there for ever.”

“Many ordinary people have a great story to tell about their life but don’t feel able to write it themselves,” says Caroline. “I interview them, write the story as they want it and produce a set of books for them, illustrated with their own photos and documents, which make great heirlooms.”
