All Booked Up is our unique training programme tailored specifically to each publisher's needs
A one day course held at our factory in King's Lynn (includes an excellent free lunch!), All Booked Up gives publishers a good insight into the book manufacturing process at a level that everyone can understand. It also helps them to appreciate how the choices / decisions they make when placing an order impacts the manufacture of their books. By gaining a better understanding of each other’s working practices and procedures we hope to build even closer working relationships with our customers.
If you are interested in taking part in the next session then please contact Jeanette Hurworth, Customer Services Director, on 01553 764728 or e-mail: jhurworth@biddles.co.uk
What customers who have attended All Booked Up sessions have to say:
"Many thanks to you and your colleagues for an excellent day yesterday. The factory tour and discussions were quite fascinating, answering all of my production questions and, equally importantly, conveying a fine impression of Biddles as a safe set of hands for the output of the smaller publisher. The case-making session, surely worthy of The Generation Game, was an education and gave a good opportunity to tap into the knowledge of one of your most experienced craftsmen. I appreciate the time taken out of all your diaries to make this investment in potential new business, and I hope I can make it worth your while in my (initially!) modest way. It was a real pleasure to be there and I can hardly wait to send my first title in Biddles' direction."
"It was a really great day with friendly people, informative talks and well prepared. Seeing the books going through on the machines is invaluable. Great lunch too! I would recommend that everyone does it."
"The information was great, the level was great, the freebies were great but above all, the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff really made the training enjoyable."
"The presenters were excellent and made us feel very welcome. Each speaker seemed genuinely interested in his / her topic. The tour of the bindery and the presses was very interesting and I learnt a lot."
"I found the whole day really useful, very information and a great opportunity to meet Biddles staff and consider working practices."
